Hydrogen water can resist fatigue and help to sleep?

Hydrogen Water uses the original Japanese name directly. Because "hydrogen" in Japanese means "hydrogen", some people call it "hydrogen water" and it is also called hydrogen-rich water in China. As we all know, the human body is composed of cells. Human diseases can ultimately be attributed to cell damage. Human senescence is also caused by cell aging or necrosis. The main culprit that causes cell morbidity or aging is excess oxygen free radicals.

The unique properties of hydrogen determine that hydrogen has many biological advantages. One of the more obvious characteristics is its strong penetrability, which can easily enter any part of the cell such as the nucleus and mitochondria. This is the foundation that hydrogen can be used for treatment. An important feature of disease.

The main functions of hydrogen are: anti-oxidation, selective neutralization of hydroxyl radicals, nitrite anions, etc. Hydrogen ions combine with active oxygen, reduce to water, and are excreted from the body. Therefore, hydrogen-rich water began to receive widespread attention in the international market. Simply put, hydrogen-rich water is hydrogen-reduced water, which is a kind of water that contains hydrogen with strong reducing power. It is different from ordinary water. It can remove excess active oxygen (oxygen free radicals) from the body through its anti-oxidation and reduction power. Of drinking water.

"Water quality determines physical fitness", but not many people can truly understand the importance of water to life and health. Therefore, some people call water a "forgotten nutrient." According to World Health Organization (WHO) statistics, 80% of diseases in developing countries and 1/3 of human deaths are attributed to water. Professor Li Fuxing, director of the China Drinking Water Professional Committee, pointed out that the water we usually drink or use will indeed shorten our lives.

Good water determines longevity. Hydrogen-rich water is not only clean, but also contains hydrogen and energy. The water presents small molecules of living water clusters. The negative ions deeply absorb 80% of the blood, purify the blood, make the blood unblocked, have a strong metabolism, prevent a variety of diseases, and improve human health. .

With the continuous improvement of people's living standards, the pace of life is getting faster and faster. If you often feel headaches, low back pain, weak limbs, and insomnia, but there is nothing wrong with the examination, then you may be in "chronic fatigue". If you don't adjust in time, serious illness may entangle you.

1. Hydrogen water has anti-fatigue properties

The purpose of this study is to use a human double-blind placebo-controlled trial to prove the effect of hydrogen water drinking on breathing, fatigue perception and blood lactic acid levels caused by exercise. Twelve healthy male subjects, aged 27.1±4.9 years old, drank 600 ml of hydrogen water or control water 30 minutes before exercise.

Exercise first to warm up with an intensity of 1.0 W/kg body weight for 10 minutes, and then perform 8 minutes of high-intensity exercise at 2.0, 3.0, and 4.0 W/kg body weight respectively. At the last minute of each step, the cardiopulmonary respiratory index, blood lactic acid level and subjective fatigue perception are assessed.

It was found that hydrogen water can significantly reduce blood lactic acid levels. At 3.0 and 4.0 W/kg body weight exercise intensity, the blood lactic acid levels in the hydrogen water group were 4.0 ± 1.6 and 8.9 ± 2.2 mM, and the placebo control group was 5.1 ± 1.9 and 10.6 ± 3.0 mM. When the exercise intensity is 4.0W/kg body weight, the ventilation equivalent hydrogen water group is 32.3±7.2, and the control group is 35.0±8.4. The fatigue perception evaluation index was 17.8±1.2 points in the hydrogen water group and 18.5±0.8 points in the control group. Research results suggest that supplementing hydrogen water before acute exercise can significantly reduce blood lactic acid levels after high-intensity exercise, and improve exercise fatigue and lung ventilation efficiency.

2. Hydrogen water helps improve sleep quality

Insomnia is a very painful thing. Some scholars use hydrogen-containing water to do experiments to see how hydrogen water can improve sleep quality and treat insomnia.

In 2014, Osaka City University in Japan conducted an experiment. Twenty-six healthy ordinary people, half of them males and females, with an average age of 34.4 years old, conducted the four-week experiment. The content of the experiment was to divide these 26 subjects into two groups. One group was drinking 300cc of hydrogen-containing water with a drinking water concentration of 0.8 ~ 1.2 ppm in the morning and evening, and the other group drank ordinary drinking water with exactly the same packaging. Randomized double-blind experiments were conducted. Double-blind means that neither the experimenter nor the subject knows who is drinking hydrogen-containing water and who is drinking ordinary drinking water.

Four weeks later, using the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index mentioned above, it was found that the total PSQI score of the group that drank hydrogen-rich water was significantly reduced, indicating that the quality of sleep was improved.

In addition, the experiment also uses sympathetic nerves to measure sleep quality. The sympathetic nerve belongs to the autonomic nerve. Autonomic nerves can be divided into sympathetic nerves and parasympathetic nerves. In most cases, the sympathetic nerves play the role of "throttle"; the opposite parasympathetic nerves belong to the "brake". Therefore, to sleep, it is necessary to weaken the sympathetic nerve and increase the parasympathetic nerve.

The study found that in the group that drank hydrogen water, the sympathetic nerve activity during sleep was significantly weakened at the end of four weeks, which proved the improvement of sleep quality.
